Hello
Apologies I have been the worst the worst blogger ever. My last post was in Feb when I had something
of a life then. I currently work full
time and study psychology part time. I
finished my exams last Friday and have been adjusting back to normal life. Which means getting back into blogging
again.
So I struggled to think of something to write about to ease
myself back into beauty blogging again.
I recently (the past 2-3 months) finished a load of my products so I
decided to do my first empties post. I
will also give you a rundown of my thoughts of each and if I will purchased
them again.
Orangeasm soap and glory- Shower gel £6.00
Finished really really quickly as in a month quickly and it’s
500ml. This is a lovely shower gel that smells of oranges peel and
grapefruit. It’s not too sickly sweet
and it’s a little bit moisturising. There
is a three for two offer at boots at the moment for ALL soap and glory products
so stock up while you can. I have
already purchased this item already.
This is my only shower gel product and I am absolutely loving it.
Hand food soap and glory- hand moisturiser £2.50
The best cheaper hand moisteriser out there. This smells like Miss Dior like most of soap
and glory products. While I like it I don’t
want to bathe in it which is why I like the above orangeasm shower gel. This is the perfect size for handbags and
travelling. I have already re-purchased
this item, I literally cannot live without.
Ortigia Florio Bath Salts 500g £20
This stuff lasted me a couple of months. These are a beautiful flora bath salts concoction
which is not too overpowering. There isn’t
a dominant flora in this but a according to the package just a “medeley of
spring flowers”. I really enjoyed using
this but would I buy it again? Probably
not, but I might ask someone to buy this for me as a birthday/xmas present.
Support Lavender & Peppermint Bath and Shower Oil
55ml £40
Okay so this is incredible expensive I know, and I don’t use
this for showers just baths. This is my second
bottle and one of the only things (bar sleeping pills) that will de-stress me
and make me fall asleep. I am a troubled
sleeper and I have struggled getting to sleep for most of my life. This is something that works for me so I am
willing to shell out £40 every 4 months to buy it. This bottle is small, but it has enough to
last 20-25 baths which is quite a lot if you think about it. It is beautiful, calming effect, that just
makes me sleepy. The oil in the bath
moisturises your skin and the scent of lavender and peppermint is divine. Have I purchased this again? You betcha, on my second bottle. Yikes.
Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil 110ml £30.00
Can you tell I have been really into my bathing recently? This is a lovely bath oil which I have been
meaning to buy for 3-4 years before finally getting round to it. I like it, it’s a lovely rose scent and it
leave your skin very moisturised. It is
a very luxurious bath oil, I definitely feel like some sort of Egyptian queen
when I use this. Would I buy it
again? Hmm I don’t think so but like the
florio bath salts something to put on the birthday/xmas list.
Sarah chapman Ultimate cleanse 100ml £40
I absolute love love love this stuff. My favourite balm cleanser at the
moment. This has taken over the Emma
Hardie balm. It is just as effective but
comes in a better dispenser. I find the
texture is more liquid and oily, which I find makes it more efficient at
cleansing make up off the face. The face
feels really nourished and glowing after using this. I found this lasted me quite a long time, you
only need the tiniest bit to clean the face. Out of the two they are both
equally good, but the ultimate cleanse just has a slightly upper hand in my
opinion. I have already re-purchased my
second bottle.
Emma Hardie (Moringa Cleansing Balm) 100ml £36
I love this stuff as well.
A really good balm cleanser that gets rid of all your make up. It leave the face clean and slightly
moisturised. Don’t get me wrong I love
this stuff but just not as much as the Ultimate cleanse. This comes in a pot which I dislike as it’s
grubby fingers to get the product out. I
prefer a dispenser. This pot lasted me a
really long time (5 months) so I would recommend buying this if you are
thinking about it.
What items have you recently run out of? What can’t you live without?
Thanks for reading
Carrie x
