Empties No: 2

Happy Monday All
So I seem to be going through a lot of my products recently.  Which makes me happy that I am using it all up, rather than it gathering dust on the shelf, unloved and neglected.

 Sarah Chapman hydration boaster £57

The older more expensive sister to Hydraluron.   Pretty pricey but, pretty special.   I went through this stuff very quickly in 5 months, but it is really lovely on the skin.  It is the essential step in my morning skin care routine.  In terms of performance I don’t think this does a better job than Hydraluron, however I prefer it simply because of the experience.   Both products deliver the same results however Sarah Chapman smells nicer and doesn’t dry out on the skin as soon as you apply it.   However it is eye-watering expensive so I will just be sticking with Hydraluron from now on.

Sarah Chapman Overnight facial £45

This is like every single facial oil that I own added together in one bottle.   I like the smell, I don’t really enjoy the greasy feel when you apply it, but I love the results the morning after.   This is the stuff that makes you look like you  have had a good nights sleep even if you have been up since 2 in the morning listening to the neighbours argue.   Like the Hydrating boaster, this is another very good product.  However I only owned this for a couple of months (5) before it ran out, so in terms of cost per use, I really cannot afford to keep buying this twice a year.

Porefessional by Benefit £24

One of the best primers I have come across.  It does feel very slippy and silicon-y however as a very greasy faced individual I find it works really well for me.   Paired with most BB creams and foundations it works really well.  I had this tube for about a 18 months before finishing this.  So in terms of cost and usage it really lasted a long time.

Tocca Guiletta £54

One of my signature scents and favourite perfume.  This is a very delicate flora perfume which has Ylang ylang, rose, lily of the valley and apple.   It’s one of those scents which is very hard to place which floral is dominate, but somehow just works with everything going on.  Tocca do some really brilliant perfumes, that are pretty unique.

Clarins Brightening Toner £25

This was my exfoliating toner which I used instead of the Pixi glow tonic.  This is a good acid based toner which brightens the skin by chemically sloughing off the dead skin cells.  This is another Caroline Hirons recommendation.  Its good and if I can’t find the Pixi tonic again I would definitely get this.  They are one and same, however the glow tonic is cheaper.   Due to the price point I will be going for Pixi if I can get my hands on it.

By Terry Concealer touch expert £32

This is one of my favourite under eye concealer.  This is very opaque but a very light texture.  So it is very good at covering dark circles without clogging in fine lines under the eye.  I finished about a month ago, and wasn’t going to repurchase this.   However I found that I missed it a lot on a day to day basis that I got another one.   This does last for a long time considering I first got this in April last year, and pretty much use it every day.  If you are looking for a nice light but strong concealer from a pen dispenser try this out.   The colour range is pretty good as well as I find the colour of this matches my-hard-to-match skin tone already.

What have you finished up this month?  Any more repurchases?

Thanks for reading.
